Matt’s never made a cake… until now.

Matt has never made a cake before. So if he can use Mazur Farms Organic Canola Oil (and some guidance, a LOT of guidance from Chef Andrea) to make a Lemon Cake then YOU CAN TOO.  This Lemon Cake is one of the delicious desserts at Red Fox Club in Kelowna, BC. Red Fox Club creates Indigenous inspired recipes to pair with the wine made at Indigenous Winery. If you ever find yourself in Kelowna, BC, make sure it is one of your stops! ingredients

  • 267 grams Mazur Farm Organic Canola Oil 
  • 90 grams local honey
  • 267 grams eggs
  • 260 grams sugar
  • 2 lemons zested and juiced
  • 260 grams flour
  • pinch of cinnamon 
  • pinch of nutmeg 
  • 11 grams baking powder
  • 4 grams salt

instructions: preheat oven 350C and spray and line 8 x 12 inch pan with parchment.  Mix first 4 ingredients together till light and fluffy. Fold in dry ingredients till just combined. Drizzle in oil till homogeneous cake batter
